We are currently seeking a dedicated student assistant to join our project team and support ongoing research projects focused on the analysis of clinical and multi-omics data.
Overview of the position
- Support for the analysis of multi-omics datasets through data preprocessing, integration of different omics levels, data visualization, and evaluation
- Assistance in the development and maintenance of reproducible analysis workflows for multi-omics and clinical data
What we are looking for
- Currently pursuing a degree in bioinformatics, computational biology, biomedicine, data science, or a related field
- Advanced knowledge of R and/or Python for data visualization, quality control, and statistical analysis
- Experience with analysis workflows for omics and clinical data
- Basic understanding of statistical concepts such as correlation, regression, and PCA
- Good written and spoken English and German skills
