Die Arbeitsgruppe des MITT Lab (minimal-invasive Tumortherapien) ist Teil des interdisziplinären Sonderforschungsbereichs 1340 an der Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin und forscht an der Schnittstelle von Medizin, präklinischer Forschung, Physik und Informatik. Im Mittelpunkt dieses Teilprojekts steht die Untersuchung tumorassoziierter Entzündungen und biophysikalischer Wechselwirkungen zwischen Tumor und Leber, um bildgebende Marker für das Fortschreiten der Erkrankung und das Ansprechen auf therapeutische Behandlung abzuleiten. Weiterhin sollen die Marker evaluiert werden, um das Ansprechen auf bildgestützte, lokoregionäre Therapien der interventionellen Radiologie zu analysieren. Das Projekt beinhaltet die Durchführung quantitativer MRT/MRE sowie die Analyse von Bioproben bei Patient*Innen mit hepatozellulärem Karzinom.
Bildgebende Untersuchungen vor und nach einer gemäß Leitlinien genehmigten lokoregionalen Therapie, kombiniert mit periinterventionellen Leber- und Tumorbiopsien, werden eine Korrelation mit molekularen und histopathologischen Befunden ermöglichen. In enger Zusammenarbeit mit klinischen und naturwissenschaftlichen Partnern innerhalb des Sonderforschungsbereichs verbinden wir methodische Entwicklung, experimentelle Ultraschall- und MRT-Systeme und biophysikalische Modellierung zu einem translationalen Forschungsansatz.

Information regarding the position
- Paygrade XXX according to TVöD VKA-K. Your job grade depends on your job qualification whereas the experience level depends on the number of working years. The yearly gross salary is hereby provided based on a full time position excluding yearly bonus and additional pay. You may find further information here
